Epic’s Personality Assessment

This assessment will help you in the decision-making process of selecting your kitten. So much of the parent’s temperaments are passed down to their kittens.

1. Does the cat enjoy being held/cuddled? Yes, he is a very affectionate kitty, loves to cuddle. Doesn’t like to be picked up and held tightly. Tolerates being held but prefers not! He loves to make muffins on your lap and will lay next to you on the couch. Follows me everywhere. If I don’t make of him, he will meow or chirp at me until I do! Very demanding! LOL
2. Does the cat enjoy being brushed? Yes, he loves to be brushed on his back and tail. Tolerates chest and stomach for a short time.
3. Is the cat social with other cats? He loves to play with other cats. He can get a little rough. He is big and strong. Doesn’t realize his own strength! Never hisses and head butts all the older cats. He even tries to groom them!
4. Is the cat social with people? Yes, very social, runs right up to strangers.
5. How confident is the cat? He is very confident an Alph Male! He dominates the household. Struts his stuff!! LOL
6. Does the cat approach me when I enter the cattery? Epic always greets me at the door. The males need to be separated from the females, so we alternate back and forth who gets to run throughout the house. One day males the next the females. They also take turns sleeping with us! I don’t get much sleep!! Cat on my head, across my neck and curled up under my arms!
7. Does the cat approach strangers when they enter the house? He is very confident and wants to be the center of attention.
8. Does the cat climb into my lap and relax? Yes, most of the time. He will climb into my lap and make muffins and loves to lay beside me on the couch. Loves to be pet!
9. Is the cat more social or more of a loner? Very Social
10. Is this an alpha cat? Yes!!! He is the Alpha male of the household!
11. Energy Level? High energy. Mostly in the morning and evening. He never walks, always runs with his tail curled up on his back. Looks like a Huskey’s tail! Gorgeous.
12. Bad Habits? Nosey as all get out! He has his nose in everything everywhere!
